As complaints about getting a full FBI check on the Hegseth nomination grow, a diverse group of veterans and military families are writing the US Senate today to undertake a full and comprehensive review of Hegseth's checkered past. Today they express grave concerns about the Trump Administration’s national security nominees in a letter to the Senate Armed Services Committee and the Senate Intelligence Committee. Along with Hegseth for Secretary of Defense, they also target Tulsi Gabbard for Director of National Intelligence, and Kash Patel for Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The groups signing the letter include the Chamberlain Network, CommonDefense.us, the Modern Military Association of America, the Truman National Security Project, and Veterans for Responsible Leadership.
