Judge William Webster sent a letter to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman, Charles Grassley, beseeching him to use this authority to stop an "Administration intent on destroying the FBI." He says to Grassley, "It is not too late to prevent or stall Kash Patel’s nomination to demand the necessary answers before confirming an unqualified candidate to lead the most trusted law enforcement agency in the world."
